See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site
Previously the Anchorage Restaurant, the premises became the home of Isle of Harris Brewery and taproom, opening on 29th March 2024.
Brunch and dinner will be served from a menu featuring local food including seafood landed here at Leverburgh Pier. The pub is dog friendly and obviously very handy for the Harris ferries, and Sunday opening has recently been added with keynote dish a 'posh Ploughman's', majoring on local select seafood.
Up to four key keg taps are available serving Isle of Harris live beer (secondary fermentation in the serving vessel) with the taproom also promising to offer guest beers on other fonts. The brewery's off-sales beers are bottle conditioned.
For an entertainment offering, they have focused on local, national and international comedy, look at the taproom's website to see who is guesting in the near future.
[Update 6th April 2026: "Easily the best beer pub on The Outer Hebrides. A superb range, brewed by Isle of Harris and others. These include a number of beers that you won’t find anywhere else, all well brewed in great condition. Additionally several Black Isle beers were available along with two Belgium and one German beer on draft. Food is also outstanding." Richard Gann, Aberdeen Grampian and Northern Isles Branch]
