After a brief absence following a remodelling of the cellar, two Cairngorm handpumps have made a welcome return to The Garth during 2019. Expect Trade Winds, a seasonal offering from the award winning Cairngorm brewery. Bottled beer is also available which may, or may not be RAIB. Built in the 1850's and beginning its life as an Inn, the "Hotel" opened on 1 January 1930. The Garth is the sister hotel to the Cairngorm Hotel in Aviemore The name “Garth” is derived from the Gaelic word "garadh" meaning “warming.”
