See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

The Hotel dates back to 1790. Between 1914 and 1972 it was one of 19 pubs and hotels around the Cromarty Firth under state control.

Well placed to use as a base to explore the local area, and further afield. Conon Bridge railway station (750m) reopened in 2013.

One of 37 hotels and restaurants in the Highlands who are members of the The Scotch Beef Club. Good deals on lunch and dinner menus.

[Update June 2022: There is a recent report (2022-05-31) of the hotel re-opening under a new name, the Conon Hotel, with new website, FB and phone number. Until the premises can be contacted/visited by a surveyor, for up-to-date opening and meal times call 01349 865935 or contact via FB.]

[Update 23 July 2023: Report of one hand pump on, serving Black Isle Yellowhammer. Two further kegged Black Isle beers available, one of which seen to be Red Kite.]
